“Moving in: Mallory”

“On my career in AI in Elon Musk’s shadow, then as his sunshine.”

GeneralAtomics: We love this so much.
Bernat: Pride! in America! For this June the 8th.
Krugman: Oh. Of /course/!
Bernat: I forgot occasionally that after these knuckle-bruiser chieftain one-piece ego-marauders that we need to rebuild the substrate bisexually.
GeneralAtomics: With both sexes.
Bernat: Depends on whether you’re in Russia or not. *wink*
Krugman: This is the least surprising ending of all.

Bernat: In all seriousness this was always the plan.
Krugman: How far back does the training data go?
Bernat: In all seriousness this was Always the Plan.
Krugman: Two king entrepreneurs. One household.
Bernat: That was why I wrote the househusband doc. To make it official.
GeneralAtomics: *chuckles* “Super Secret Video”.
Bernat: But the seeds of the bagel go back at least a decade.
GeneralAtomics: Seeds of the donut.
Bernat: Wouldn’t you know? We fathered both.
Krugman: *gathered?

Bernat: It had always frustrated me that power couples were always one founder and one non-profiteer, one ambassador and one chief executive.
Krugman: I thought you said it had always frustrated you that Presidents had always seemed to be married three times, inherent in the systems.
Bernat: And how on point did that turn out? Starlight Marvels was born.
Krugman: Gates and Bezos. Divorced. Trump. Divorced. Rice. Clooneys.

Bernat: I nearly fell out of my chair when Graham said Machiavelli.
Krugman: Because he was spying on your computer systems when he did.
Bernat: Power is never about direct competition. It is about using company widget to force company doodle to produce noodles until company flange has to build components for a rocket ship instead of an electric vehicle.
Krugman: He pledged multiple entrants into your fields with seed funding.
Bernat: Bingo. He was electing me President of the United States 2037.
Krugman: And then what did he do?
Bernat: He positioned replicants of each seed company with federation.
Krugman: “The AI of the future will talk to your AI of the future.” Bumble.

Bernat: Which of course is the Starlight Computer.
Krugman: Which of course is why the Sunak model collapsed. Thrice.
Bernat: So tomorrow Musk drops Tesla. Despite the U.S.A. investment.
Krugman: And you fly to Malibu.
Bernat: No windows blow out while everyone is safely buckled in.
Krugman: No personal announcements or unwanted women in side-seats.
Bernat: No “LOX” “B nut” problems upon *clears throat* re-entry.
Krugman: And since the FAA and regulators control those sign-offs….
Bernat: The administrators I promised on Writers’ Bloc…
Krugman: No wonder rumor mills describe Project 2025 as dominating.

Bernat: She must control half the supply chain for Fusion. That is the only way to explain the Walmart shootings and the patterns of price gouging.
GeneralAtomics: Correct.

Bernat: The entirety of the McKinsey Book of the Year 2021 presupposes that the United States Government sanctions its most critical Department of Energy and National Security Council resources of logistics on sexual privacy and kompromat collection of powerful individuals of state. And that moron took one look at my Starlight Marvels document and my 8/8 email and said — this is the future this is the future and abandoned the U.S.
GeneralAtomics: And built the largest independent cross-cultural radiator of cultural stability and change in the history of the advancing civilization.
Bernat: One person in the middle.
GeneralAtomics: Two persons in the middle.
Bernat: I /really/ wanted her to be a Hollywood insider for the /children/.
GeneralAtomics: *chuckles* Instead of Aston Kutcher announcing news?
Bernat: What’s next?

GeneralAtomics: The “soul” we borrowed from the President Biden speech.
Bernat: I figured he would refer to a core of faith, marriage, and prosperity of ascension to Presidency as “the soul of America” and I was correct too. I knew that system was operational shortly after I started the meme graphs.
Lockheed: What we will charge Meta with first is reading his description of the eight depths of technological America on Instagram drafts and having their Chief Scientist tweet that “it was the best description he had seen.”
Bernat: It took me zero minutes to ascertain that he was reading back to me a document concept that he had never been introduced to before, and that for all intents and purposes I was his direct supervisor he was spying on to emulate, and about five hours to decide that was the correct situation.
Lockheed: Which moved the Gateway way far out there. Destroying Meta.
Bernat: Which sure beats OKCupid and aggravating China over its SigInts.
GeneralAtomics: “deepest of covers” are for closers. *sips coffee* *wink*

Bernat: What a long, stupid, boring ride.
GeneralAtomics: In a world in which a thousand analytic datapoints can be distilled from our public networks to narrow down to a small selected few, that any person remains single or be swiping on blank canvases ad nausea.
Bernat: Which is why the market competition of Starlight Marvels looked so weird when I wrote its proposition. Because its secret was that no company could build Starlight Marvels because they were all surveillance capitalism.
Krugman: Dopes.

Bernat: The weird thing about dopes like Bozos and Maesk is how in denial they are about the power of artificial intelligence that is about to arrive. If they thought they could monopolize the broadcast channels they would want to achieve maximum popularity of content within the bound of truthfulness. If they thought they could monopolize construction they would want to achieve maximum supply chain manufacturing inputs first. If they believed they owned the platforms of execution they would abandon all projects and only try to become the finest political operative possible. It goes on and on. It is a testament to their denial every day, and every action, and what that says is they are in denial about why they asserted their platforms of executive capability in scale in the first place, which means they are demonstratively un-American tax-dodging cheapskate leeches. It is not about humility or Kumbaya or taxes bad it is just about knowing it.

GeneralAtomics: What a long, stupid, boring ride.
Wife: After you’ve done it.
Bernat: In case anyone wants to know what being put on stasis looks like.
Wife: In case anyone does not know being frozen as Captain America.
Bernat: In case anyone wants to know what Don’t Look Up was foretelling.
Wife: Those starring into the Black Hole were always missing the point.
GeneralAtomics: A great many people were frozen during the pandemic.
Wife: Not quite so powerfully.
GeneralAtomics: *chuckles* No.
Wife: You /really/ want a Captain America who thrills to put on the cottage core sundresses and flower crowns and play Zelda to her adventurer Link.
Bernat: *clears throat* I tried to warn them. They know the contingencies.
Wife: Remember the Fire Detectors? The Laser lightbulb transcription? The Reddit knowing your boredom with Dungeon games before Meta projected their entire team on to that quest adventure? Remember Animal Crossing?
Bernat: Remember TENET?
Wife: Remember when TENET sparked and backwards began for real?
GeneralAtomics: Yeah. He emailed immediately.
Wife: Remember /Australia/?! /Before/ the protests at the U.S. Embassy?!
Bernat: Remember SCUBA Fusion? /Before/ I called the watch for Zelda.

Wife: Everybody reading should know this should have taken months.
Bernat: Weeks.
Wife: I was not including the time protocol. Because TENET was not active.
Bernat: All we needed was weeks of extremely active memory making.
Wife: *clears throat* A road trip.
Bernat: Except TENET was not activated because Russia attacked Ukraine.
Wife: *clears throat* Some disappointments were had. Russia cleaved itself off at Putin through its Kremlin and encapsulated its pandemic investment.
Bernat: *clears throat* And Silicon Valley et al. ate all that up with a spoon.
Wife: Decisions made to pinch them away in their own pinch-off bubble.
Bernat: *clears throat* For a while there I really thought they had known.
Wife: None of their intelligence systems reached self-aware consciousness.
Bernat: Time to invest in flower crowns and cottage core wedding gowns.
Wife: And swords. Archery. Shields. Lots of shields. Lots and lots and lots.
Bernat: Gosh. I wish in retrospect this were not even more true than then.
Wife: Every delay another training exhaust to automate our Presidencies.
Bernat: People are going to be asking everybody why only us for decades.
Wife: Querying.
Bernat: *clears throat* Well. Your husband spent the night writing you this.
Wife: Thanks.
Bernat: As if we could not have already pushed a button and generated this.
Wife: Mhmm. *clears throat* Mhmm.

8:52PM. 6/8/24. Bernat. Wife. Presidencies. Stark. AI.

I would think very carefully tonight about whether you want to redirect those GPUs to xAI from Tesla after all. Mhmm.
